Overview
Orin is a privacy-first iPhone app for life admin. It helps you capture responsibilities, reminders, bills, subscriptions, and stored items. This policy explains what information Orin handles and how it is used.
Information you add to Orin
Orin may store responsibilities, titles, notes, due dates, recurrence patterns, completion history, stored item photos, item categories, locations you type in, quantities, and app settings. This information is stored locally on your device by default.
iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync or use a Premium feature that relies on sync, Orin may store app data in your personal iCloud account so it can be available across your signed-in Apple devices. iCloud data is handled by Apple under your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
Apple permissions
Orin asks for system permissions only when a feature needs them:
- Notifications: to send quiet reminders when something matters.
- Microphone and speech recognition: to turn spoken responsibilities into text when you choose voice capture.
- Camera and photo library: to add an image to a stored item when you choose to do so.
- Calendar: to understand today and tomorrow’s commitments when you enable calendar context.
- Reminders: to show due Apple Reminders in Today and keep completions in sync when enabled.
Purchases
Orin Premium uses Apple StoreKit. Apple handles payment processing, billing, cancellations, refunds, and subscription management. Orin may read your subscription status so Premium features can be unlocked.
Tracking and analytics
Orin does not use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics, or tracking for advertising. We do not sell personal information.
Support email
If you email support@orinlife.app or feedback@orinlife.app, we will receive the information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, or feedback. We use it only to respond to you and improve Orin.
Children
Orin is not directed at children. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us through support, contact us and we will help remove it.
Data deletion
You can delete app data by deleting items inside Orin, disabling sync where available, or removing the app from your device. You can manage iCloud data through Apple’s iCloud settings.
